About The Artist

When I was in Jr. High I found a local artist Joanne Plum, to begin art lessons. I've continued taking painting lessons till 2016. Joanne Plum helped me become the artist I am today. I enjoy making realistic paintings along with scherenschnitte and natural/wild life photography. My friend Sally introduced me to scherenschnitte in Jr. High. While I was in college I met a scherenschnitte artist named Marilyn Diener at the Kutztown Folk Festival. Marilyn has gotten me into a local art guild and giving me pointers about improving my paper cutting techniques and my art business.

I’m always expanding to display my work at more big shows. In 2018, I participated in these shows:
--- the Goschenhoppen Folk Festival (August 10th-11th at 318 Colonial Rd.
--- Perkiomenville, PA
--- the Belsnickle Craft Show (November 23rd-24th at Boyertown High School in Boyertown, PA).
My future plans are to have my paintimgs and photos for display at the Shows.
